Susanna Davy is a designer and artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She came to architecture after 6 years as a professional artist, having earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art and Creative Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008.  Her transition from printmaking to architecture was spurred by lifelong interest in the subject and the desire to make a greater contribution by creating sustainable, significant, and engaging places for people.  She obtained her Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2017, and has spent her career to date in Gensler’s Oakland, CA office, where she endeavored to bring her experience in art and storytelling to bear in crafting meaningful human experience through built form.
